AB540 Scholarships

I am pleased to inform you that CIFE (College Is For Everyone) will be providing a second round of scholarships for undocumented students this academic year:  The Spring 2012 CIFE Scholarship.
Eligible students must:
– Be an undocumented student.
– Be a first time and first year college student for the 2012-2013 academic year.
– Attend the CIFE All-Day Workshop on March 31, 2012.  For workshop info, email name and high school to
– Reside and attend a high school in Los Angeles County.
– Must not be a previous CIFE Scholarship recipient.

Application Postmark Deadline: May 5, 2012
Amount of Scholarship: $500

HACU Scholarship Program (DEADLINE MAY 25)

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is now accepting online applications for its Scholarship Program until May 25, 2012.

To apply to the program students must meet the following criteria:

·  Enrolled at a HACU-member college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico at the time applications are completed and scholarships awarded.
·  Demonstrate financial need and be eligible for Federal Financial Aid (student must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
·  Meet criteria for specific scholarships to which they are applying.
·  Applications and supporting documents must be submitted by Friday, May 25, 2012. Scholarships range from 2,000 – 5,000 and will be awarded in the fall for the 2012-13 academic year.
